BAPCO Privacy Policy

A major concern on people's minds these days is privacy on the Internet. We feel an obligation to inform you of how BAPCO handles information on the BAPCO.org site. We urge you, if you have a web site, to develop and provide a similar statement on your site(s) outlining how you handle people's information.

The BAPCO.org site makes use of CGI scripts. This method of presenting information provides a great deal of flexibility and power, including the capability to gather information about our visitors.

Just because the capability to gather information exists does not mean that we have an interest in tracking what you do on the site. Any information that we do gather is used only to provide security and to make our lives easier by automating tasks that we would otherwise have to perform manually.

So, here's the policy:

We do not under any circumstances, sell or disclose to any third party information gathered on the BAPCO.org site.
All e-mail form submissions are routed to an email address within the BAPCO.org domain. Form submissions are viewed and processed only by members of the club's board of directors.
The Guest Book is a public, readable web page. There is nothing we can do to prevent individuals (including spammers) from harvesting names and/or email addresses from it.
As of this writing, HTTP Cookies are not being used at this site
